Canadians rediscovered their love of the outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic, as evidenced by record-breaking campsite bookings in 2021. In childhood, Brad discovered a love for the amazing world of insects. Books such as Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Insects and The New Field Book of Freshwater Life fueled his interest in many creatures big and small. In Grade 4, he successfully reared two Monarch butterflies from egg to adult.
Now nearly 46, Brad is a graphic designer for the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce but still takes the time to write and photograph the natural world all around him, while also writing a monthly nature article for local newspapers.
